This Acceptable Usage Policy (Policy) applies to all Customers of a Service provided by Globalinternet who have entered into an Agreement with Globalinternet for such service. This Policy is formulated in order to encourage the responsible use of the Service.

Under the Agreement, the Customers have agreed to comply with this Policy. This Policy outlines certain prohibited uses of the Service and the consequences which may flow from a violation of this Policy. All terms used in the Policy which are not expressly defined shall have the same meaning as in the Agreement.

Each Customer must report to Globalinternet by e-mail to any violations of this Policy promptly after first becoming aware of such violation and shall provide all reasonable assistance to Globalinternet to investigate and resolve any reported claims, complaints and/or problems arising out of the Services.

Customers must immediately report to Globalinternet by e-mail to support@globalinternet any issue that might compromise the stability, continuity or security of the Services. Customers must cooperate with Globalinternet and any properly authorised law enforcement or regulatory authority or body to investigate claims of criminal, illegal or other inappropriate behaviour.

Any complaints or enquiries regarding any breach of this Policy should be sent by email to support@globalinternet.

Resale of Service

The Service provided by Globalinternet to the Customer in the manner described in the Agreement may be used for resale purposes, unless Globalinternet is restricted by law or supplier to do so or has prohibited resale on the Service Delivery Confirmation.

Illegal Use

The Service must be used in a manner that is consistent with their intended purposes and may be used only for lawful purposes. Customer may not use the Service in order to transmit, distribute or store material (a) in violation of any applicable law or regulation, (b) in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or the privacy, publicity or other personal rights of others, (c) that is fraudulent, obscene, defamatory, libellous, threatening, abusive or hateful or contains a virus, worm, trojan horse, or other harmful component, (d) containing fraudulent offers for goods or services or any promotional materials that contain false, deceptive or misleading statements, claims or representations or (e) generally, in a manner that may expose Globalinternet or any of its personnel to criminal or civil liability.

Countries may have different laws and regulations regarding Illegal Use. This may relate to, but is not limited to, the use of Voice over IP, accessing, distributing and participating in gambling, political or pornographic content and the use data encryption by means of 3DES or equivalent. Customers, and their users, are responsible for compliance with these local laws and local regulations.


Customer is prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of Globalinternet’s Network and Service, including, without limitation, (a) accessing data not intended for such Customer or logging into a server or account which such Customer is not authorised to access, (b) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorisation, (c) attempting to interfere with, disrupt or disable service to any user, host or network, including, without limitation, via means of overloading, “flooding”, “mailbombing” or “crashing”, (d) forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any e-mail or newsgroup posting, or (e) taking any action in order to obtain services to which such Customer is not entitled. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability.

Password Protection and Transfer of Account

Customers are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of their password and user account numbers and may not share either their password or user account number with any other person.

Customers may not transfer their account to anyone without the prior written approval of Globalinternet. Customers must report to Globalinternet by e-mail to support@globalinternet any loss of their password or any other situation in which they believe the security of their password may have been compromised promptly after first becoming aware of such loss or other situation.

E-mail and SPAM

Customer may not send unsolicited e-mail messages, including, without limitation, bulk commercial advertising or informational announcements (“Spam”) in a way that could be reasonably expected to adversely impact Globalinternet’s Network and Services, including, without limitation, using an e-mail account on Globalinternet’s network to send Spam, or using the service of another provider to send Spam or to promote a site hosted on or connected to Globalinternet’s network. In addition, Customer may not use Globalinternet’s Network and Services in order to (a) send e-mail messages which are excessive and/ or intended to harass or annoy others, (b) continue to send e-mail messages to a recipient that has indicated that he/she does not wish to receive them, (c) send e-mail with forged TCP/IP packet header information, (d) send malicious e-mail, including, without limitation, “mailbombing”, (e) send or receive e-mail messages in a manner that violates the use policies of any other internet service provider, or (f) use an e-mail box exclusively as a storage space for data.


Globalinternet takes no responsibility for any material created or accessible on or through Globalinternet’s Networks and Service that is not posted by or at the request of Globalinternet. Globalinternet does not monitor nor exercise any editorial control over such material, but reserves the right to do so to the extent permitted by applicable law. Globalinternet is not responsible for the content of any web sites other than Globalinternet’s web sites, including for the content of web sites linked to such Globalinternet’s web sites.

Third Party

Customer may have access through Globalinternet’s Network and Service to search engines, subscription web services, chat areas, bulletin boards, web pages, Usenet, or other applications and services that promulgate rules, guidelines or agreements to govern their use. Customer must adhere to any such rules, guidelines and agreements.

Violation of Policy

If Globalinternet, at its complete discretion, considers that this Policy has been violated in any way whatsoever, Globalinternet will take all appropriate steps available under the Agreement to enforce compliance with this Policy including suspending, disconnecting or cancelling a Customer’s Service.
